Petalworks - Photography
This page features a selection of documented photos from what I refer to as 'washing' petals. Multiple vases are used to do this and much of the photography is taken above producing a natural lens framed by the round top of the vessel. This lends to my interest in the circular lens featured within microscopy. In addition to this, I was intrigued to her an interview I held with a subject matter expert working in policing during the MA, that personal items found with someone unidentified are often photographed from above following what is referred to as a God's Eye view in forensics. Also used in surveillance. The petals being surveyed here are from a range of flowers including roses, lily's, carnations, tulips, and rhodendrums.
